The HOA has received calls regarding the increase amount of coyotes people are seeing.  We contacted Arizona Fish & Game, and they told us that due to the high heat and lack of water, coyotes, as well as other desert creatures, will find areas with food and water sources that are not found on the hillside preserves where they generally live.  It’s recommended to always stay close to any pet when outside, keep food and water bowls inside and not left out, and pick up any dog waste.  Fruit trees, when in season, are another source of food for animals, and it’s recommended to remove any fruit near or on the ground.
